Today I enjoyed a partially-NHS-sponsored filling. The process involved an hour, two surgeries, two dental nurses, and three dentists. What a beast !
An interesting observation: it is impossible to scratch an itch on an anaesthetised part of the body. My chin itches, but it is numb from the dental injections, hence my scratches don't register with my brain and the itch persists. Weird, eh ?
