Nice weather for penguins

A little bit of snow seems to go quite a long way around here. The other night we came across two arresting bits of evidence of snow-related disaster on the hillside above our house.
Firstly, there was this chap, who'd clearly decided discretion was the better part of valour, at least where driving 4x4s up icy hills was concerned:
Secondly, there was this nasty-looking prang, which was located a few meters downhill from a ninety degree left-hander:
Yikes. Good job we left the motor at home.
